Erika Blair [Broas] [she/they] is a multidisciplinary artist, who most often can be found making metal objects and jewelry - with a side-love for textiles, ceramics, and cooking. She has been avidly pursuing the art of jewelry since 2010, and launched her business in December of 2020.

Aiming to create evocative objects and wearables, at the core her works are driven by humanity’s instinctual desire to adorn oneself.

Taking symbolic inspiration from antique and ancient jewelry, she melds historic designs with modern aesthetics. Paying special attention to each thing she creates, the resulting works are meaningful, tactile, & playful, with finely crafted details meant to stand the test of time.

Erika grew up along streams and waters in the red pine and beech forests of West Michigan in Ottawa territory, and now resides in the beautiful valley of the Conemaugh river in Osage/Monongahela territory; her studio is located downtown Johnstown, PA. Among her favorite things to do are examine and learn about plants on walks, ride her bike, row her boat, garden, and find frogs along streams.
