Care instructions: all of my steel jewelry is sealed with a protective coating of mineral oil. However, this can wear off if not taken care of properly: do not wear these in the shower, and never wear them whilst swimming, particularly in salt water. Keep them in a dry place, and apply oil to the steel periodically. Mineral oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, almond oil, canola oil, and olive oil all work wonderfully. If your earrings do rust, please email me! I will be happy to re-finished them for you.
